2008 Schedule of Meetings

A combined Land Use
Board, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 55D-25(c) consisting of nine members
and two alternate members serves the Borough of Lakehurst. The
Board is responsible for land use matters including site plan
approvals, master plan reviews, and advising the governing body
on land use matters.
Land Use Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of the
month at 7:30pm at the Community Center, located at 207 Center
Street.
The Land Use Board secretary serves as the administrative officer.
The area of the Borough of Lakehurst west of the railroad tracks
is under the jurisdiction of the Pinelands Commission. Any application
or development in this area requires a Certificate of Filing
from the Pinelands Commission, before the application can be
heard by the Land Use Board. Applications can be obtained in
the Business Office.
An application before the Land Use Board requires a $250 non-refundable
application fee as well as escrow fees. Escrow fees are utilized
for the appearance of the Land Use Board attorney and engineer
to review said application. Escrow fees are as follows:
