that is the location for many community activities, such as the Easter Egg
Hunt, July 4th celebration, and Halloween ghost stories.

A favorite of swimmers, the cedar water, is always refreshing as
it is fed by two streams, Blacks' Branch and Hurricane Branch. A lifeguard is
on duty at first beach from June 19th through September 1st from 11:00am until
5:00pm daily.
A scenic nature trail winds its way around the rear of
Lake Horicon. The Historical Society sponsors a Walking Tour of the nature
trail several times a year. Call (732) 657-8864 for information regarding tours
dates and times.
At the rear of the lake, more picnic benches and grills
await those who have an appetite for a scenic view as well as lunch.
A
footbridge allows visitors to cross onto a small island with a great view of
the lake. A park bench affords a comfortable place to rest while enjoying the
beautiful tree-lined lake.
Spring, summer, fall or winter, Lake Horicon
is the place to be for recreation or just relaxing.
